Ministries and their Roles
Ministries are the government agencies that have many roles to perform and many functions to do. There are various kinds of ministries in Pakistan that perform their relevant duties and also coordinate and supervise the actions that are performed in various sectors and geographical area of Pakistan. Major Ministries in Pakistan involve Ministry of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Tourism, Internal Ministry, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Petroleum, Ministry of Law and Legal Issues, Ministry of Railway, Ministry of Electricity and Water Supply, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Cabinet Ministry and many other sub ministries are also working under these ministries. The major function of a ministry is to manage the organization and coordinate with the government institutions. It provides you with administrative and structural support so that Government can fulfill constitutional duties. Ministries also follow up the executions of the resolutions passed by the parliament and present the directive of the ministers to the Government of Pakistan.
Different Ministries and their roles differ as their basic structure depends upon which sector and which section of the countries they are working. Ministries also prepare draft agenda for the council meetings of the ministers as well. The defense ministry of Pakistan under takes the responsibility of defense of Pakistan under the direction of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Ministry of Foreign and International affairs is responsible for cooperation among the neighboring and other countries around the globe. Ministry of Finance and Economic takes care of all the financial issues of the country and provide reports to the president of Pakistan as well. Ministry of Justice is also an essential part of the cabinet as it make sure that democratic practices are being promoted in the country and guide the people of the country with principle of decentralization.
